Sheep
Recommended daily feed intake
In the fall and winter, during the breeding season and the lactation period, it is necessary to supplement the sheep's feed. Sheep do not tolerate copper. Therefore, it is not added to the concentrate.
The amount of concentrate to be given depends on the roughage ration and the weight of the animals.
Feed according to the condition of the animals.
Always provide sufficient fresh and clean drinking water.
During frost and snow, give animals which run outside an extra amount of concentrated feed + roughage
Sheep
Newborn lambs drink only milk from their mother sheep for the first few days. It is important that lambs have access to an unlimited supply of tasty concentrates, such as lamb pellets or sheep and lamb muesli, to stimulate rumen development. Sheep and lambs need plenty of fiber in their rations so that they can ruminate well and maintain or develop a healthy rumen.
